Sense, Absorb, Play & Make for Mental and Physical Health

Live Particle were invited to offer professional development workshops at HHA’s staff wellbeing day. Staff explored somatic literacies and how they might bring their sensing, moving body to be an active part of their wellbeing. Using haptic/kinetic tools as entry points into sensory encounters, they took time for self-care, processing emotions and invigoration with somatic arts-based strategies. They gathered useful evidence-based therapeutic practices for their mental and physical health inside and outside of school.
